I thought the Galapagos would be the highlight of this trip, but it wasn't - Ecuador was. The trekking, walking, hiking and the amazing landscapes, mountains and volcanoes left me breathless (and not because of the altitude!). I am now obsessed with mountains and volcanoes. The ice man trek was amazing to meet him and see him at work. When he retires I can say I met someone from Ecuador's history. The whole trip was amazing. My hidden potential was realised!
