The Wild Frontiers Andes Horse Trek in Patagonia, up the very beautiful Puelo River valley in Chile and over the El Baston pass into Argentina was a wonderful experience. We had excellent horses and skilful Housos (Chilean Gouchos), and enjoyed a vanishing way of life, staying in some remote farms, which depend wholly on horses for transport. We had good company, fantastic scenery and as we have come to expect from Wild Frontiers, great organisation. I would highly recommend this trek.
