This trip was a perfect blend of sea, desert, history and culture, showing us Oman from Muscat in the far north to the Yemeni border in the south. The 5 days of wild camping were extremely well organised and gave us some real "Wow" moments in terms of the camping locations chosen and the opportunities we were given to explore Oman's deserts, mountains and shore line. Our Omani guides thrilled us with their driving skills in the dunes of the Wahiba Sands and the Empty Quarter and were incredibly generous in showing us their culture and customs. Khaled certainly deserves a place on Masterchef for the excellent food he produced for us every morning and night of our wild camp
