Travelling with Jonny to this remote part of Pakistan, so close to his heart, was an absolute privilege. The people we met were his friends and it was incredibly touching to see how he was welcomed everywhere. No one can go on this trip and not come back changed by the warmth of the people, who have little and give everything, and by the beauty of the landscape. The local guides were an absolute delight, drawing the group together, so that even when difficulties arose, due to road blocks which delayed our journey home, our sense of humour never failed. The extension to see the Wild Frontiers Foundation School was an experience I will never forget. This was my second trip to the Hunza Valley, and I will be back.
