My overall experience of Kyrgyzstan was one of surprise and always exceeding my expectations. The World Nomad Games were a spectacle worth seeing, the various sports with the best being Kok Baru, fascinating to watch. The journey through the country took us to amazing mountain scenery and spectacular gorges. The trek over Ton Pirival Pass was a personal highlight. The Yurt Camps were a delight (although a bit cool at night !!), The 2 nights we spent at both Tash Rabat and Son Kul were in areas of such beautiful scenery the memories of that will stay with me for a very long time. Fantastic trip.
