This was our second trip to India; the first to Kerala some 20 years ago. We were recommended to try Wild Frontiers by good friends, and weren't disappointed. This trip had all the elements we wanted for a broader experience of India. Everything worked wonderfully well, even some aspects we had reservations about - like the hours on the bus and 'living out of a suitcase'. Both these proved to be a bonus: travelling in the (excellent) bus gave us a really good idea of how life is in this part of India. And the hopping from one place to the next enabled us to stay in a variety of truly fabulous, historic palaces. We had 10 excellent companions (maybe the itinerary makes this self-selecting?) and the icing on the cake was our excellent tour guide JP. We would not only recommend Wild Frontiers but this trip too.
