Iona Joy

I work hard - endless stuff to organise, decisions to make. In London everyone's "time poor" and leisurely interaction with anyone, except a cabbie in the traffic round Vauxhall Cross, is rare. So holidays with Wild Frontiers are ideal - its all organised, the only decisions being which itinerary to book and what socks to pack. Then once on the journey to whichever remote outpost is the trip's objective, I can recover a sense of time and space, rediscover the pleasures of conversation with likeminded travellers (some of whom become new friends), and wonder at other landscapes and cultures. I return invigorated.
