I'm just getting down to earth after getting back. The trip went very well and I had a really interesting time. Only minor hitches, the plane was delayed for 4 hours in Rome on my way out so I missed out on the Addis City tour but frankly I was so shattered I was grateful to just sit in the garden at the Ghion Hotel with a cold beer. The itinerary was just what I wanted with the right amount of time at each place. I did vary my time in Lalibela for 1 day by hiring a Landcruiser to see some of the churches outside the town, they were spectacular but you do need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get to them. WF’s agents were very good, the local guides were very helpful and I couldn't have expected any more. I had a great trip and thanks for organising it for me.
