This was our first visit to India and we feel this trip gave us a huge variety of experiences. We saw bustling cities, markets and bazaars, enjoyed the tranquility of the foothills of the Himalayas, visited temples and mosques and camped on deserted sandbanks along the Ganges. Main reason for choosing this trip was the variety of experiences of India offered by the different activities...we wanted to experience something more than the usual tourist trip. Our tour leader, Hayley was absolutely exceptional. She was bright and cheerful in all circumstances, well organized, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about India and was largely responsible for the success of the trip.
