We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to India which took in The Golden Triangle of New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and ended our tour in Udaipur assisted by our very knowledgeable guide and our very careful and reliable driver. The highlight was staying in The Exotic Marigold Hotel where the Manager was so helpful and friendly. He took us on a tour of the village close by to the hotel and arranged for us to visit the school. We met the children who were very excited at our visit and having their pictures taken and seeing themselves in the photos. We saw their schoolwork and they sang their national anthem with great pride. I was concerned our visit to the school might be intrusive but this was not the case and seemed to be enjoyed by all. The Heritage hotels we stayed in, particularly in Pushkar and Udaipur offered fantastic lake views with incredible sunsets. We really did experience the real India and would highly recommend this trip!
