Andrea Bradbury

There were so many major highlights on this trip - the people that we met on the way.. the refugee who played his yazh with such passion…the Iraqi in the mosque in Tbilisi who had been a translator for the British army and had lost 27 members of his family… the genocide memorial in Yerevan… the scenery in Armenia and meals in the family homes. The live music played at several of our meals was beautiful and seemed to reflect the sufferings of the Armenians. The wonderful sculptures in public spaces. The 3 cities (all very different) and the museums made me realise so many things that I didn't know about the area and how history repeats itself.
