After a childhood spent in Singapore and exploring South-East Asia, Patrick always had a broader appreciation of travelling to far-flung places from the UK.

Rarely content sitting still, following graduating from Bangor University with a degree in Environmental Management, Patrick worked within the Peruvian Amazon as a tropical ecologist and found his way into working within outdoor education, leading youth-led international expeditions, teaching scientific fieldwork and designing and leading outdoor learning programmes both within the UK and internationally. Work and travel have taken him to North America, South America, Africa, Central Asia, South-East Asia and Australasia.

Returning to education, Patrick gained his PGCE. He then worked for an NGO designing and delivering international education and sustainability projects primarily between Wales and East Africa, freelancing as an international expedition leader and studying for a part-time masters in Outdoor Education.

Patrick took on the role of Operations Executive at Wild Frontiers to apply his tour-leading, travel and project management experience in a logistical capacity.
