Walking is one of the most satisfying ways to explore dramatic landscapes and appreciate nature in all its glory. We have a portfolio of walking holidays that take in some of the world's most stunning natural scenery, from the Svaneti Mountains in Georgia to the forests and valleys of Romania. Our tours also take in a good slice of the local history and culture, whether that be biblical trails in Palestine, charming villages in Montenegro or the rock-cut churches of Lalibela in Ethiopia.
About our Walking Holidays
Our collection is aimed more at walkers rather than trekkers, and combines a bit of sightseeing with a bit of walking. Tours like our Wild Walk in the Simiens involve a 3-day walk sandwiched between cultural highlights, whilst others such as our Wild Walk Along the Enchanted Way in Romania involve walks every day, ranging in length from 2-3 hours to a half day or even full-day walk.
Why Book a Walking Holiday with Wild Frontiers?
Walking tours can sometimes focus so much on the routes they miss some amazing sights, whilst cultural tours can often just involve a token walk here or there. Our tours combine the joy of some good walks with the chance to take in the history and culture of the destination, ensuring you take in key sights and stretch your legs amidst stunning scenery.
“My walking holiday in Georgia was simply the best walking holiday of my life.”
