La Casona Inkaterra is an exquisite, private Relais and Chateaux 16th Century mansion just a block from the main Plaza de Armas with a small and peaceful plaza in front of it. With just 11 suites over 3 different categories, the hotel offers the most personalised and high-end service available in Cusco. The hotel has been carefully restored to maintain its historical heritage offering contemporary luxury, without sacrificing authenticity. Check in is completed in the guest rooms, which are spacious and elegantly decorated with colonial-style furnishings. All of the bathrooms are marble and have a free-standing bath and separate shower, the suites have honesty bars, a complimentary mini bar, LCD TV and DVD player; DVDs are available to borrow at reception. There is just a small dining area, and breakfast and afternoon tea is complimentary. While there isn't a bar as such, guests can order drinks and snacks from any staff member, anywhere in the hotel. This is a stylish, traditional property offering personalised service and beautiful rooms, however availability is often hard to come by so it is worth booking months in advance.
