Our rating: Premium | Property style: Boutique Hotel

Casa Republica is housed in a beautifully restored 18th century mansion and renovated to reflect the glory days of Lima’s Republican era. Located in the artistic Barranco neighbourhood, the hotel exhibits a trendy elegance that has become typical to the handful high-end boutique properties in the area, albeit on a more humble and affordable scale. The mansion itself has been well-maintained and is adorned with art and furnishings that reflect both the modern ambience of the area and the historic roots of the building’s era. Staff at Casa Republica are friendly and aim to make you feel “en casa”. The hotel has a small restaurant, where a daily breakfast is served and dinner reservations can be made, and an early evening bar. There’s also a garden area that is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the day in between tours and wanderings.
