Onguma - The Fort, Eastern Etosha

The Fort has an enviable view that overlooks the beautiful scarceness of the Etosha Pans. Originally part of the greater Etosha Game Reserve, Onguma Game Reserve boasts over 30 different animal species within 34,000 hectares of land. The property is made up of 11 mini suites and 1 honeymoon suite, combining a classical African feel with touches of Moroccan and Indian flavours and characterised by a various antique doors and windows. All of the mini suites around 50 metres apart from each other ensuring privacy and are equipped with air conditioning systems for those warmer days. The spacious bathrooms feature both inside and outside showers. Wooden decking leads guests from the rooms to the sun lounger area where they can sit back, relax and enjoy the views of the water hole. There is also an outdoor pool on the grounds. The Fort provides guests with the opportunity to venture out on a morning, sundowner or night drive and also offers the chance for guests to take part in an interpretive bush walk. Private game drives are also available when booked in advance.
