The wildlife is spectacular in both, with a huge variety of lemurs, chameleons, geckos and snakes found within the parks as well as a wonderful variety of birdlife. Andasibe is home to plenty of Madagascar's iconic aye-aye and its location close to Tana means it is very easily included in the majority of Madagascar itineraries.

The Andasibe-Mantadia National Park is home nine species of lemur in the reserve including the largest species, the Indri Indri.
