Mid-Range
Good quality service and overall comfort
Our rating: Mid-Range | Property style: Hotel
This charming guesthouse has been built in the style of a Swiss chalet with twelve comfortable en suite bedrooms and spacious communal areas. Just off a leafy boulevard in bustling Bishkek, the peaceful garden provides an ideal spot for resting after a busy day exploring, especially when the flowers are in bloom between late April and late autumn. The welcoming reception area is open 24 hours a day and in the back of the hotel is an outdoor pool with an accompanying sauna. The hotel’s Swiss-style bar and restaurant serves a choice of delicious breakfasts. Although the facilities are simple, we like the quieter location of this property.

Navat Hotel, Bishkek
The Navat Hotel opened in April 2019 and provides a colourful ambience, reflective of Tajik style whilst providing modern comfort, an excellent central location and much more character than the Hyatt found opposite. The hotel is spread over three floors and houses just 14 rooms including one single room and one triple room. The warm, English-speaking staff complement the cosy environment created by warm wood, traditional felt interior and textiles. Rooms feel more modern, but with plenty of local charm and flavour, and come equipped with air-conditioning and standard three-star amenities. Bathrooms are contemporary and higher category rooms are very spacious. Tucked away amongst tall trees and vegetation, guests of the boutique-style property can enjoy all the benefits of its great location in the heart of the city, without feeling like they are. As well as having many dining options nearby, the hotel is also linked to a restaurant. This is the perfect option for those wanting a local experience in a modern boutique hotel, with a good location to boot.

Orion Hotel, Bishkek
We recommend the Orion Hotel, as it is one of the most prestigious hotels in Bishkek. The hotel draws inspiration from opulent hotels found in Europe with marble bathrooms and decadent, Italian renaissance-style décor. Each of the hotel’s 84 rooms offer spacious luxury with standard five-star amenities. The hotel has everything one would expect from a high-end hotel, including the Elixir spa and fitness centre, equipped with a large indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam; the well-stocked Pishpek bar; and European-trained chefs serving dishes at the hotel’s all-day Symphony Restaurant. Perfectly located across from the Orion is a small park, and the surrounding areas feel peacefully residential. Despite this, you are still only a short walk to the central plaza and all the city’s main attractions.
