Sasaab is one of the most stylish and luxurious safari camps in northern Kenya. Occupying a beautiful location in the Westgate Conservancy, this is a wonderful spot to spend a few days in the lap of luxury deep in the wilderness. There are seven Moroccan-style rooms and a two-bedroom family suite. Each of the bedrooms has its own private plunge pool and sides that can be left open during the day for views across the surrounding area. All have en-suite bathrooms boasting flush loos and open-sided showers with full amenities. The main area of the lodge has a huge open-fronted lounge which looks out across the swimming pool and to the river that runs in front of camp. There is a small gym and an excellent spa on site with a range of treatments. The food at Sasaab is superb and guests are able to enjoy the mouth-watering meals in a variety of scenic locations. A huge menu of activities is on offer including day and night-time game drives, guided walks, camel rides, sundowner drinks trips, bush picnics and visits to local schools. Activities such a fly-camping can be done by prior arrangement and quad biking is available for an extra fee.
