The Echigo farmhouse uses thick keyaki wood beams and the oak building has been constructed without nails for an aesthetically pleasing look. Legend has is it that the entrance hall was once home to displaced samurai. The restaurant provides breakfast and dinner, serving Gassho cuisine and produce from the local Hida region, including Hida beef.
