One of the oldest cities in the world, the ‘City of Gold’ is a fascinatingly unique place where the first century rubs shoulders with the twenty-first century. Start the morning with a visit to the 'Dome of the Rock' to walk around the courtyard before exploring the Old City on foot, discovering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Jewish Quarter and the Western Wall. This afternoon you will then get the chance to delve deeper into this region’s history with a visit to either the Israel Museum or the famed Yad Vishem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Centre.

Very few experiences compare to that of standing on Mount of Olives, overlooking Jerusalem, and trying to comprehend how much world history has been influenced by the city lying beneath you.
