In complete contrast to the medieval Old Delhi, New Delhi stands in formal splendour; a city of wide boulevards offering ever-changing perspectives of Lutyens' landscaped city. Highlights include Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate and Humayun's Tomb, architecturally considered the forerunner of the Taj Mahal, as well as a visit to the Sikh temple of Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, where you can also visit the community kitchen where thousands are fed delicious food every day.
