Stretching over 4,300 kilometres along South America’s Pacific coastline, Chile is a land of startling contrasts and beautiful extremes. Embark on this luxury journey, staying in Tierra properties and some of the best accommodation in Chile, travelling from the stark and inhospitable beauty of the Atacama Desert to the staggering Torres del Paine National Park.
This incredible journey will take you from the beautiful winelands of the Colchagua Valley to the harsh, surreal landscapes of the Atacama in the north, the world’s driest desert. Stay on the outskirts of the small town of San Pedro de Atacama and the salt lakes and lava flows of the most arid spot on earth. Covering some 1,000 kilometres, the Atacama offers a chance for trekking in the Salt Mountains, visiting the Moon and Death valleys and sunset at the Taito Geysers.
In stark contrast, see the windswept beauty of the south with its glittering glacial lakes and snow-capped mountains. Spend three days exploring the Torres del Paine National Park, staying in one of National Geographic’s ‘Unique Lodges of the World’. Kayak, hike, horse ride, catamaran and bike your way around the stunning glaciers, vast lakes, impressive mountains and interesting wildlife. After all the adventure soak in the spa and relax with a massage.
