This incredible journey provides a chance to experience some of its remarkable highlights, beginning in the vibrant and exciting capital.
After a chance to explore some of Buenos Aires’s iconic sight, you’ll fly on to El Calafate to visit one of the country’s oldest national parks and view the spectacular Perito Moreno Glacier and Upsala glacier. From here you will then travel into the Andean foothills to the town of Bariloche and the beautiful shores of Lake Naheui Huapi. After a couple of days of enjoy Argentina’s striking Lake District, you then find yourself amongst the vineyards of Mendoza where you will take a tour of the wineries and sample the produce of the region.
The trip climaxes amongst the magnificent Iguazu Falls, listed as one of the natural wonders of the world, where you’ll have an opportunity to visit the hair-raising ‘Devil’s Throat’ and appreciate views of the falls from both the Argentinean and Brazilian sides.

Day 1 ARRIVE BUENOS AIRES

Day 1 ARRIVE BUENOS AIRES
On arrival to Buenos Aires, your private guide and driver will be waiting to meet and greet you before taking you to your hotel in the city centre to settle in and rest up after the long international flight.
Day 2 BUENOS AIRES

Day 2 BUENOS AIRES
After being collected from your hotel, today will be spent enjoying the cosmopolitan capital’s highlights. The tour will include the iconic “La Boca” neighbourhood, a colourfully painted village full of interesting arts and crafts and the burial place of Eva Peron in the Recoleta district. Following a break for lunch the tour concludes with visits to the pretty Palermo Garden, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Colon Opera Theatre. The rest of the afternoon is then free to enjoy the city your own leisure.
Day 3 BUENOS AIRES

Day 3 BUENOS AIRES
A free day to further explore Buenos Aires before the evening’s big event, and unmissable experience whilst in the city, a sultry tango show. The sounds of tango fill the air of Buenos Aires and you will be able to bask in this musical ode to feelings of longing, passion and love from your own dining table tonight in the friendly atmosphere of Café de los Angelitos. The live dance and music are accompanied by dinner and wine.
Day 4 BUENOS AIRES - EL CALAFATE

Day 4 BUENOS AIRES - EL CALAFATE
This morning your driver will take you back to the airport for your flight to the town of El Calafate in Argentine Patagonia. Upon arrival you will be met by your guide and transferred to a beautifully designed hotel overlooking the turquoise Lake Argentino. Have the rest of the day at leisure to relax and take in the stunning natural surroundings.
Day 5 EL CALAFATE

Today’s delights include a shared excursion to visit the iconic Perito Moreno Glacier. The journey from El Calafate town to the glacier is approximately 80km, during which time your guide will provide an introduction to the surrounding area’s history and the glacier’s mysticism. As you near the destination, you’ll enter an area filled with fresh Andean Patagonian forest and stop off at the "Curva de los Suspiros" (Sighs Curve) to enjoy your first panoramic view of Perito Moreno Glacier. This viewpoint offers the chance to get some great shots before continuing on to the platforms and balconies at the front of the glacier. Here, there will be time to explore the platforms independently as well as get up close and personal to the towering block of ice’s south wall via a boat ride. Arriving back at the hotel after the tour, you will have another afternoon at leisure.
Day 6 El CALAFATE

Day 6 El CALAFATE
This morning’s shared excursion sees you travelling to a unique spot in Los Glaciares National Park at the remote Estancia Cristina, founded in 1941. The trip includes crossing the lake in a boat to reach the estancia which is located a few kilometres from the Upsala glacier, one of Los Glaciares National Park’s most cherished assets. Upon arriving at the lodge, the tour starts with a visit to the museum and old shearing shed where to learn about its history. Then, walk through a historical part of the estancia to begin a short, guided walk up to the Caterina River and the chapel where you can enjoy a picnic prepared by the estancia’s kitchen. After lunch, the small group will jump in 4x4s to head to the refuge of continental ice travelling through a mountain trail that, until recently, was covered by glaciers. The walk from the refuge takes about 20 minutes over eroded terrain to reach the Upsala Glacier viewpoint where you can see the eastern front of the glacier, Lake William, the Patagonian ice field and the Andes range. After some time here, backtrack to the estancia via 4x4 and then to your hotel in El Calafate across the lake.
Day 7 EL CALAFATE - BARILOCHE

Day 7 EL CALAFATE - BARILOCHE
You will be taken by private transfer back to the airport for your short flight to Bariloche in northern Patagonia where a private, local guide and chauffeur will be waiting for your arrival. Settle into your elegant, waterfront hotel where you have the rest of the day relax.
Day 8 BARILOCHE

Day 8 BARILOCHE
After breakfast, you will be picked up for a relaxed half day tour of the town’s historical and natural sights. Start by visiting the most impressive viewpoints as your guide explain how this little mountain village has changed transformed over the years into one of Patagonia’s main travel destinations. Appreciate the beauty of lakes Moreno and Nahuel Huapi as well as Lopez and Capilla peaks. Later, walk through the impressive native forest of Llao Llao Nature Park to reach a local microbrewery where you can sit down to lunch with beer tasting (not included).
Day 9 BARILOCHE

A enjoy a full day at leisure in Bariloche, the most famous of the Lake District towns.
Day 10 BARILOCHE - MENDOZA

Day 10 BARILOCHE - MENDOZA
Head back to the airport for your short flight to Mendoza city in the Argentina’s wine region. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 11 MENDOZA

Day 11 MENDOZA
Today you will embark on a full day wine tour of the vineyards of Mendoza, famed for its Malbec. Luján de Cuyo is the heartland of the Malbec grape which you can “experience” in a variety of ways today. The wineries visited vary but all of them have been handpicked for their premium quality wines and services, and have received various accolades and awards. Whilst being chauffeured between vineyards by your private driver and guide at each stop you will enjoy a tour and insight into the winery’s processes and history, likely in a small group. Typical experiences include witnessing the different processes in action, having a go at producing yourself and, of course, tasting the finished result. A long lunch is included at one of the wineries with wine pairing experience.
Day 12 MENDOZA - IGUAZU

Your driver will transfer you back to Mendoza’s airport this morning in time for your flight to Iguazu where, upon arrival, your local guide will take you to your hotel, tucked away in the creases of Iguazu’s tropical forest. The rest of the day is then free to enjoy the lodge or perhaps head to the city to have a look around town.
Day 13 IGUAZU

A full day on the Argentinean side of the falls begins with an early start and, hopefully, the first train to La Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat) to experience standing above this thrilling point where the water roars over the edge, before the crowds arrive. The rest of the day will then be spent navigating some of the 1,400 metres of walkways in and around the colossal falls, with your private guide, via its upper or lower circuits for more spectacular views, including over the entire Devil’s Gorge, and an exploration of the area’s flora and fauna.
Day 14 DEPART IGUAZU

Day 14 DEPART IGUAZU
Head over the border this morning to explore the Brazilian trail around Iguaçu Falls. Although the Brazilian side doesn’t have the extensive network of trails that the Argentinian side boasts, it is blessed with best views of the falls and is perfect for a relaxed stroll stopping to take pictures. From these short walkways you can admire panoramic views of the Devil’s Throat and the majority of the falls’ highlights as well the chance to feel the water’s spray from the boardwalk that protrudes out onto the Brazilian side of the falls. After the half-day tour, you will be taken to the airport in time for your flight back to the capital where your tour ends and you connect to your onward international flight.

Club Tapiz Hotel, Mendoza
Club Tapiz is located in a 1890 estate surrounded by 22 acres of vineyards. The house was restored preserving its structure of Renaissance-style Villa, maintaining vintage elements, such as the patio and pinewood floors. The connection with its surroundings and enthralling views of the Andes make this boutique hotel a unique place to stay. With just 11 rooms set around a lovely courtyard -it is an intimate lodging and there is a fantastic restaurant and small pool and spa to enjoy.
La Aldea De La Selva Lodge & Spa, Iguazu
This rustic ecolodge finds itself immersed in the Paraná Rainforest around 20km from the falls and the local airport. It was constructed from local wood which creates a lovely natural and rural atmosphere. All rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and have private balconies that overlook the rainforest. There are some great local excursions, including zip-ling through the forest, that can be arranged through the hotel. There is an outdoor pool and restaurant onsite but being one of the closest hotels to the city, the restaurants of Puerto Iguazu are a short 10-minute taxi ride away.
Design Suites El Calafate, El Calafate
Located on a hill a short 5-minute drive from town, the rooms offer perfect panoramic views of Lago Argentino at this lovely boutique option in El Calafate. Rooms are spacious with a contemporary design and touches of décor that reflects Patagonia’s ranchero roots. The design of the hotel revolves around minimalism and the large, floor-to-ceiling windows are a central feature found throughout the building. Facilities include a therapy and massage room; a large, conservatory-style, indoor pool; and a restaurant with stunning views.
Hotel El Casco, Bariloche
Hotel El Casco is a lovely boutique property on the shores of the Nahuel Haupi Lake near Bariloche. This Art Hotel has just 33 rooms and suites, each individually decorated with paintings by local artists and all with views out to the lake and with en suite bathroom facilities. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, plasma television, wi-fi access and DVD players. The hotel also has a fantastic restaurant and wine bar with 180 degree views of the lake and also a health spa with an in-out heated pool, fully kitted out gym, sauna and steam room as well as massage treatments. This is a fantastic option in the Lake District, offering a high standard of accommodation and service to its guests.

This stylish hotel is well situated in the vibrant Palermo district, a short walk from the bars and restaurants of Plaza Serrano. Hotel Clasico offers luxurious, comfortable, modern rooms. Overall a great value option in the most lively part of Buenos Aires.
