Q: How did you fall into tour leading?
A: My family entertained guests in the olden days so ever since my childhood hospitality has been part of my life and part of Rajput culture. I had a close cousin in the industry and he was able to impart his knowledge of tour leading and to inspire me. I thought that I too should do something to show my country, culture and heritage.
Q: What do you like most about tour leading?
A: Being a tour leader has allowed me to travel and explore new places and to be exposed to people from different walks of life. This has helped me broaden my horizons and to learn from them.
Q: Where is your favourite part of the world?
A: India. I really enjoyed travelling to Leh to see the snow covered peaks, mountains and blue lakes. It's natural beauty and clear unpolluted skies made it a special place. I also enjoyed seeing the Buddhist culture and visiting monasteries.
Q: What was your biggest travel highlight?
A: A visit to Italy was my biggest highlight. I enjoyed the wonderful architecture and travelling on the canals through such a historical city.
Q: Which famous person would you most like to travel with?
A: Richard Dunwoody. His knowledge of horsemanship would give me the chance to learn so much.
