Suhaib was born in Jordan and is in his early thirties. He got his first degree in Hungary in Business Management and finished his tourism studies at the University of Jordan. Suhaib has been leading tours in Jordan since 2007 and is passionate about showing people how beautiful Jordan is.
Q: How did you fall into tour leading?
A: I love Jordan a lot. People who knew me advised me to be a tour guide because I had so much to share with people about Jordan and, in addition, I speak English and Hungarian.
Q: What do you like most about tour leading?
A: I like showing travellers my beautiful country by helping them to get in touch with people and cultures. I also like to share experiences and create new ones.
Q: Where is your favourite part of the world?
A: I always say "wherever you go there is something special to see", but in general I love Europe.
Q: What has been your biggest travel highlight?
A: Driving from Hungary to Jordan - passing through Eastern Europe, Turkey, Syria and into Jordan.
Q: What’s the craziest request you’ve ever had from a client?
A: Why do camels walk on the right hand side not on the left?
Q: What’s the one thing you couldn’t travel without?
A: A good camera and comfortable shoes.
Q: Which famous person would you most like to travel with?
A: Nicolas Cage would be perfect for me.
Q: Have you ever made a cultural faux pas?
A: I don't remember any!
