Built in a classic Swedish cottage design, the Pine Bay Lodge is located along the coastal edge of the Luleå archipelago, around 30 minutes from the centre of Luleå itself. Traditional and homely, the lodge features eight standard hotel bedrooms, each with en suite facilities. To the side of the lodge is also a family cabin that has two double rooms, one single room and shared facilities. The focal point of the lodge is an expansive open-plan dining and lounge area, with a large and welcoming open fire. A sauna offers up a chance to enjoy the genuine Swedish ‘experience’ and the lodge’s restaurant serves up an authentic taste of Lapland with reindeer, moose and arctic char on the menu.
