Okonjima Luxury Bush Camp is situated at the edge of a wilderness area and is made up of 8 thatched, African-style chalets each with its own open sala and an unrestricted view of the sights and sounds of the surrounding bush. The exclusive chalets enjoy total privacy from one another, created with a combination of glass windows, khaki-green canvas and earthy ochre walls all under a thatched roof. The chalets are equipped with two queen size beds, two comfortable leather chairs, and a desk with a telephone to contact reception. Each sala houses a lounge area with an open front, a mini-bar, two couches and a coffee and tea station. There is an extensive communal lapa in the shape of the indigenous camelthorn pod where the reception, kitchen and spacious dining area can be found as well as a cosy lounge with four indoor, rustic fire-places and an outdoor fire-place; and a swimming pool overlooking a waterhole to observe the roaming game. The camp offers an extensive range of activities including leopard watching, large carnivore tracking on foot, a traditional bushman walk, evening game drives, self-guided walking trails and bird watching.
