The Mena House Oberoi five star hotel is set in 40 acres of jasmine-scented gardens with the Pyramids towering above. It was originally the hunting lodge, of Khedive Ismail, the King of Egypt. Rooms have balconies overlooking the pyramids, some boasting the names of the dignitaries, who once stayed here; Sir Winston Churchill, General Montgomery to name a few.
