Through the generosity of Wild Frontiers clients and staff, and the tireless work of our friends on the ground in India, food parcels and protective equipment has been reaching people in need in rural Rajasthan.

Wild Frontiers' India director, JP Sharma, appealed for help to assist people in need in his home town of Bundi who, due to the consequences of COVID-19 and the lockdown, were left without an income.

JP has been busy distributing food parcels, sanitisers and face masks to people in need, who lost the ability to earn a daily wage while lockdown was enforced, and to priests whose temples were closed during lockdown.

Funds have also been used to supply personal protective equipment to the local government hospital after staff asked for help. This has included N95 face masks, bottles of sanitiser and thermal scanners as requested by the hospital.

JP has been overwhelmed with the support received and will continue to help the community and in and around Bundi as the need arises. He passes his thanks to everyone who donated to the campaign.
