Kantipur Temple House is ideal for those not wanting to stay in one of the standard international style of hotels that doesn't reflect the architecture of Nepal - it has bags of character and charm. Although the hotel is fairly simple, and the bedrooms can be a little dark, the hotel does tick a lot of boxes for those who want a more boutique option. It is within walking distance of the restaurants and shops of Thamel, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Durbar Marg meaning the location is one of the best in Kathmandu. There are 48 rooms, divided into Standard and Deluxe Rooms. Bedding is specially commissioned fair-trade dhaka (hand-woven) cloth bedspreads.
